Ken

THE CUSTODIAN

He opens the doors,
and cleans the floors;
He mows the yard,
and works so hard;
He mops and wipes,
and clean all types;
He removes the trash,
and cleans the glass;
He loves his church,
and puts Christ first;
He is always there,
a man of prayer;
He gives so much,
with a humble touch;
He is a true Christian,
and our beloved
Custodian.

Numbers 8:5-26

Ken,
In the Bible there is described a group of servants called the Levites, obviously of the tribe of Levi.  They kept the Temple ready for worship by an atmosphere of cleanliness and preparation.  Lamps were trimmed, the bread was fresh, the garments clean and the lights burning.  In the spirit of the ancient Levite our "custodian", or "janitor" does the church work.  It is important to God, for it is His house you clean.  God Bless you.

Pastor Larry
