A LITTLE GIRL OF TEN

It’s a Barbie doll world
When you’re a ten year old girl,
You can still pretend at play,
on a fairy tale day.
With your best ever friend,
like Barbie and Ken;
You like pizza and coke,
and silly funny jokes,
That you can laugh out loud,
‘cause with a child that’s allowed.
Such a simple life when,
You’re but a child of ten;
So don’t grow up too soon,
Keep enjoying cartoons,
And chocolate chip cookies sweet,
For an after school treat,
Yes, hold that little girl smile,
You’ll be gone in awhile,
and the adult world begins
No more my little girl of ten.
