Eric & Emily Harris

They came to us fresh from High school,
Young and green and on fire;
They dug right in a led the youth,
Wow! How they could inspire!

Already they were deep in love,
So in a year they were hitched;
Together Eric and Emily proved,
As New Beginnings they found their niche.

They labored here for four good years,
Youth Camp, VBS, and Mission Trips;
The two of them mentored youth
With a heavenly, loving grip.

Now time has come, as it does,
For our children to leave the nest;
One they go to Afton, Oklahoma
We’re sending them the best.

Wherever Eric and Emily go,
As the Spirit leads them on;
We’ll keep in touch and pray for them,
And always be their home!
