Russell Morris

A Name Added

He was a good listener...

Perhaps that’s where his wisdom came;

He displayed an easy smile,

but to everyone he was the same.

Strong in moral convictions

a character of virtue and pride,

He seemed to have endless compassion,

a good one to have on your side.

Where he stood was where God called him,

though, some may have given doubt,

He heard the voice calling

and to him there was not need to shout.

He and his partner, Brenda,

shared together this mission call,

They kept it all together,

when so many in life will fall.

I commend to you his witness,

as to God he commended his soul;

For any who knew Russell Morris,

know now he walks streets of Gold.

The roll call of faith is now longer,

a new name was added to read,

The servant, Russell Morris,

from this earth has now been freed.
