For This Child We Prayed
Charis Anne Borg
Formed in the mind of God
designed with special care;
This child conceived in love,
is a product of genuine prayer.
Tiny in her beginnings,
her head, her feet, her hands;
A gift to godly parents,
who named her Charis Anne.
Approaching the divine altar,
then on it this child they lay;
Oh God, this baby is yours,
whom we dedicate this day.
Who knows the future before us?
It is seen as God's good plan;
But she is pointed toward the Lord,
and placed in His Blessed Hand.
